Get out your diaries and start booking your tickets, because the Dance Stables event of the summer is happening!
On Saturday 9th June 2018, Dance Stables Summer Show ‘Wanderlust: the desire to travel and see the world!’ will be taking place. This not-to-be-missed event will see nearly 150 of our incredibly talented students perform on stage in the 395 seat theatre at the multi-award winning cultural hub Artsdepot.
With stunning performances, colourful costumes and explosive choreography, ‘Wanderlust’ will feature dances inspired by different countries. Through each unique routine, choreographed by our talented Dance Stables teachers, we will take you on a journey around the world. So prepare to boogie in Brazil, prance in Portugal and shimmy on down in Spain!
This is a brilliant occasion to bring together all the Dance Stables Academies, two groups of our DS Primary School club children and our Adult classes, as well as special performances by our wonderful DS teachers! It’s an essential opportunity for our dancers to showcase their talents and ability, as well as get some important performance experience, so we would love for you to join us and show your support.
And to get you in the mood here’s a short extract from a poem we wanted to share with you:
Oh, how I wish
I could travel,
To someplace new
With secrets to unravel.
To see the sun shine
In a different way,
To have a new start
To my day
Oh, how I wish
I could just up and leave,
With not a care in the world
Or luggage to heave.
I just want my view to change
And change it must,
To satisfy my heart,
Of its WANDERLUST!

Price: £14.50 per person (plus a booking fee if purchasing online)
Please note: performers will be called to the theatre for rehearsals during the day - more details to follow soon via email to all parents.

To ensure that every performer has someone to watch them, we will be limiting bookings to 3 tickets per family until 31st May - when we will open up this limit. Tickets are on a first come, first served basis!
